RE: Landscaping ideas

The best advice I can give you is not coming from a budding landscape
designer, but from experience. If I were to do my garden "over" again, I
would:

Make sure I add good "bones" to begin with: choose some trees and shrubs
and go along with your "purpose." For me it was attracting wildlife,
fragrance, and year round flowers. So I chose trees and shrubs accordingly.

I would have added more berms, or highs and lows. Basically my garden is
*flat.*

I think the main things to consider are how much time you want to spend out
there, taking care of things and watering. What do you want to do out there
when you're just enjoying the garden? REad? Rest? Do you want flowers all
year or a big burst in June because you're gone to another summer vacation
place later? Those are just starter questions.

For mine is a little old-fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.

I AM in shape. ROUND is a shape!
