I am starting a new rose garden in full sun, south side.
Desided that this time I would like some background shrubs
and evergreens, that will also complement the old roses.
I have thought of the yew, and a Camellia (don't want the flower
trying to steal the show from the roses) may go with a white one.
I am getting a dwarf Lady Apple (300 yr.old and small) that I will
place in an island of Albas,Gallicas,Moss, and Rugosas. Hope
to put in a wall of Ramblers on the west side.
Any suggestions on shrubs and evergreens ???
