For own-root only plants, try Vintage Gardens, Sebastopol, CA. I have had
excellent service from them. They have a great selection of Old Garden Roses
and HT's, ALL on own-roots! They ship one-gallon plants, in pot, February
through June. The Spring '98 availability list is free ( I just got mine,)
and a complete catalog is (I think) 3$
