Re: exclusivity rights to Austin Roses

Mr. Austin grants these rights to many different growers, each get exclusive
rights to sell a particular cultivar for a specific period of time. He
introduces many new cultivars each year, which many people have argued are
so similar to others that he is not justified in doing so. If the particular
variety you want is only available grafted, why not go ahead and buy it, and
take cuttings yourself?
