Joanie,

7', or
beyond, yet? What have you used to attractively underplant it?

Don't have it, but it has been on my "must have" list since i first
got interested in roses - alas i "don't have", yet. How would you
describe the leaves of yours - are they really blue-green or just
not true-green?
OT - as for apple scion wood - i was simply going to mooch
off of friends trees. I know a couple that is retired and have
about 100 trees. They were going to raise and sell apples
during their retirement but they are too busy. I would like
to get scions from their Prima (disease resistant var.) and
their Blushing Golden. Plus i was going to try and rework
part of my huge, old (obviously), unknown apple tree - using
cuttings from my own young orchard.
Roses - i am going to have to get back to planning my
rose beds. Our remodiling is done and i need a climber
(or two) beside our porch - something fragrant most of the
season. Any ideas?
