Nice suggestion!  Both are beautiful roses, and FJ at least should be
disease free.  Rugosas like their roots cool, though.  You might put the
pot where it will be in the shade, with the rose above in the sun. 
Iceberg gets raves from Florida, so may do well for you, too.  Your best
defense against disease, organically speaking, is air circulation. 
Don't put those pots too close together!

As for minis and micros, my absolute favorite is Elfinglo.  Should do
well for you, too.
