Hi rose lovers. I think this is my first post after lurking for 8
months. For the person who asked about blue flowers, I like caryopteris,
which is a fall blooming shrub and mixes nicely with roses. It is
available from Wayside nurseries and others. It tends to like semi shade
in hot climates. Mine growing in full sun tend to suffer here in
summer-hot central VA.
And, of course there are several nice blue clematis, which some people
train along rose canes.
Happy 1999 everyone, and lets imagine that roses make for the big news
stories this year and not ridiculous stuff about politician's sexual
peregrinations.
