Hi Janine , another Aussie here..I'm in south Western Australia, and live
in a hot dry (summer) and mild, wet, occasioanal frosts (winter) climate.
I am in the process of develping a Rose garden on our 18 acre property..the
neighbours think we are crazy and ask why we are not growing something
useful like pumpkins! At present due to water constraints I only have 9 old
roses inherited from the local school, they were transplanted under
enormous duress but seem to have survived. I have dreams of arbours and
climbers and masses of heritage roses. Until we get the water sorted I
have to be content with dreams.
