Re: Wish List

I write up a rose wish list, number them from 1-3 in favorite order,
sleep on it a few days, re-write the list, number them again... you
get the idea. Then I hold them ''rejects'' from my list for next
year list. If I still like it, and someone here gets the
''heave-hoe'', then I buy it the following year.

I used to feel really bad about ''heave-hoe-ing'' any roses, now I
just see it as ''good house keeping'' (got to make room for the list
at least) and have several folks that just love my ''unwanteds''.
They are usual less serious about roses, but like having a few. Often
they are so grateful, I can get a great exchange a going. :-)

I just heard a delightful way to use mini's. Use them to make a
''childrens garden''. I can see it now, with an Alice and Wonderland
or Pooh theme. Mini iris, now that sounds cute.

I'm sick of this wet, gloomy stuff they call winter here too. When
Spring comes, it's like: What's that ??? Sunshine ? .... pout,
pout...

Sincerely,
