RE: R. Carnina Seed

I too would like to know the germination time for rose seeds ? I was
able to order "sweetbrier" - r. eglanteria seed from Richter's on
line (goodie, goodie). Still waiting for them to arrive. I will
follow your lead Asata, keep me informed. I have my fingers and toes
crossed for yours too. :-)

I do have a back-up plan. A gal in Kentucky has a field of sweetbrier
and would sent me some roots. But I thought this might be fun. If you
need some "wild dog roses" roots, I could be your back up plan. If
these are the kind you are looking for. Best dug in the fall.

Would this be a good time to plant ?
How long should I put the seeds in the frig ?
I don't want to wait a year.... :-(

Sincerely,
