In May someone wrote that something was eating all his rose buds and someone
responded that it was probably chipmunks - I just witnessed this myself for
the
1st time. How can this be prevented? If I use Tree Guard (a bitter substance
to
ward off deer from trees, shrubs, perennials, etc.) will it damage the buds?
Do
they also eat the blooms? I shooed the little pest off but he returned almost
immediately. Any help will be most appreciated. (Do they also like hips?).
Thanks, Joanie z.5
