I have Moonlight, which has amazingly tolerated the dry semi-shade under a
25' plum tree and florished. Moonlight is a single white with yellow
anthers -- very sweet.
Penelope is new to me, but very pretty, reminding me of the hybrid tea Sheer
Bliss.
Cornelia is new too and has been moved to a north wall where she is growing
happily and ready to bloom. She was under this same plum tree and growing
merrily, but didn't fit into the long term plan there.
One of my favorites is Prosperity. This grows on a slightly sloping
south/west bed and thrives. Double white, more tea shaped.
I do have Buff Beauty on the edges of this same plum tree and it was slow to
take off but is doing quite well after 4 years. Mine stays about 3 x 4 and
apparently they can get to 5' in a better location.
I would describe the flowers of more of a soft gold and don't see any real
peach in mine. Quite floriferous.
Lavender Lassie is another hybrid musk and this could not be recommended
highly enough. This plant took off from a half dead straw sized plant after
a terrible winter here (wet) and grew to maturity in 2 years. It grows
near/through a Chinese wisteria and doesn't mind it a bit. If any of you
have ever grown wisteria, you know that not much can compete with it, even
most other vines.
LL has sent out stems 15' high right through the wisteria and blooms above
it all summer long, as well as at "ground" level. Some of the branches have
gone in toward the porch so they are almost completely shaded and they never
quit either. This rose is never out of bloom, is a perfect shade of pink
(no lavender, sorry), very full petaled and fragrant.
Another hybrid musk I'd love to find room for is Sadlers Wells. Heirloom
used to carry it. It is a white with brilliant cherry picotee -- reminds of
Handel, another tea climber.
Hybrid musks are always the first rose "family" I go to when needing a plant
for a difficult (poor soil) or shady spot.

For mine is a little old fashioned garden where the flowers come
together to praise the Lord and teach all who look upon them to do
likewise.
