Louise Odier is my favorite rose in the garden. It has an exquisite
quality, and fragrance. It is however, the most prone to blackspot of all
the old roses in my yard, and definitely needs to be sprayed. The problem
tends to surface a little later in the summer than with the HT's, so there
is a tendancy to hope it will not appear. We have very hot humid stale
summers here. I think you may have more breezes in Oregon, so you may have
less of a problem. Judy Sylvester, zone 5.
