Re: Souvenir dlM, Mme IsaacP
Judy,
I've grown Mme I. P. here in Ann Arbor a few years now. I can't say
the plant is thriving, but I'm not quite ready to give up on her just
yet. She's in the sunniest spot I have, but it's also the most
wind-exposed during the winter months. I'll baby her along for
another year or so, then make a decision. Another Bourbon, Zephirine
Drouhin, does very well for me. It's planted a few feet away from Mme
I. P, but in a more spot more sheltered from the winter winds.
I would say give it a try. As I said, my plant's struggled but it may
just be a less vigorous specimen.
