Re: Fwd: rose-digest Digest V99 #12

Hi,

The reason you are getting these messages is because on a list every
member of the list gets a copy of what is sent including what they
themselves have sent. It is an automatic thing as this is a digital
process. Any request to be removed from a list should go to the proper
place as directed when one subscribes to the list but often people do
not read and save that information so they send their request to the
list as they would a message and you and I and everyone else on the list
gets a copy of their request. Since the request did not go to the
proper place they do not get removed and they send more requests to the
list and we get copies and on and on until someone gets the word to the
person to tell them how to unsubscribe.

Your message went out to the list and so you got a copy too. That is
helpful as you know your message really went to the list when you get
your copy.

Keep those rose messages coming. We will soon have some messages about
roses in bloom from some areas.

A list member, Patti
