[Rose-list] Re: Favorite Rugosas

I'm crazy about the 'Alba' I put in last year - it has lovely single blossoms
of a brilliant
white with terrific stamens and produces large red/orange hips in the fall, if
I don't forget and dead-head the spent blossoms. The leaves are a light and
clear fresh-looking green that are heavily textured and that turn yellowish in
the autumn. A very "clean" looking bush with lethal thorns.
