I have my roses with nepeta 'Six Hills Giant', calamintha, crambe, lady's
mantle, assorted lilies, lamb's ear, dianthus, and a host of other
perennials.  Let's face it:  some roses don't bloom all summer and others
can get leggy and unattractive.  I like to have other things to look at
that compliment my roses.  Plus, I have the added bonus of having bouquet
fillers.
