My goodness! Every rose I own is in bloom right now, excepting two that I
bought this year. My 'Therese Bugnet' started the show, the other rugosas
followed, and now my three climbers are blooming along with the new roses I
bought from J&P. The funny thing is that all of them are much, much larger
this year and the fragrances are more pronounced. The Austin rose I have,
'Morden's Blush' ( I think...), has wonderful roses that are about the size
of the palm of my hand. I have a note in my journal that this same bush
produced roses about 2-3" in diameter last year.
A very unusual year...
