Blasphemous as it may be, have you checked your local chain stores like
Walmart? I suppose if you're down south they might not have bare-root
roses anymore (or living ones anyway), but many chains carry the same
merchandise at all of their locations (other than the climate-dependent
items). It's worth a shot. I got mine at a Walmart, I believe, just
last year. I assumed it was fairly common because usually they only mass
produce big-sellers like JFK, Blaze, Peace, etc. I know I've seen it in
catalogs too, but I can't think of which ones.
I'll see if I can find it in one of the catalogs around here...
