Hi Linda,
Most regretfully Heirloom Old Garden Roses is yet to be on the web.
Several years ago they ventured out to do so and they ran into many
hassles that are just now getting settled. Long stories that I still
don't understand about the Internet and the selling of names and
sites. Anyhow, I keep hearing that they hope to get on ''soon''.
Talked with Louise this Spring and they were working on updating many
of the pages or pictures.
So until that day, their catalog will have to pacify us. Unless you
visit them in person. Yippee, I'm going up the end of this month. If
any of you live close by and haven't been there you simply must check
them out. Awesome gardens and test gardens, and a huge pergola
covered in ramblers, great place to sit (they furnished a bench too)
to beat the heat.
Their newest catalog is now 124 pages with over 200 pictures and over
650 varieties, WAY cool. This top quality, wonderful resource of a
catalog (and I've purchased the top 5 old rose catalogs last summer
and it's the best) can be had for just $5. by calling 503-538-1576
in St.Paul, Oregon. How's that for endorsement/sales? I would love
to work for them in trade for roses, if I only lived a little closer,
they are such sweet folks.
Sincerely,
~Carleen~
