[Rose-list] Re: perennials and roses

Sweet Woodruff is taller and stands about 8-10 inches tall. It has a
series of leaflets that run along erect green stems, like them velcro
plants. It is covered in minute white flowers that are lightly
fragrant near May Day or Mother's Day. It likes some shade and
spreads in a nice thick carpet, much like pennyroyal. They make May
Wine out of it. It turns a nice light rust and dark green in the late
fall, but is just little sticks in very cold winter.

My pennyroyal mint barely made it threw the winter, but is coming
back. Mine is mint fragrant, is yours ?

Sincerely,
