RE: [Rose-list] was: hardiness/now vegative reproduction

Rustling is fun. Just be sure to ask the plant owner first. I carry a small
pruner, scissors, plastic baggies, pen and notebook in my car in case I come
across something I must have (and the owner is willing to part with a cutting
or two). If you're thinking of rustling in the fields or woods, be sure to ask
the landowner's permission first. I have a beautiful bright pink rose (name
unknown) which started as a cutting taken from a stranger's garden. I was
walking by as she was working in her perennial border. I was captivated by
this rose and struck up a conversation. We've exchanged cuttings and plants
since then.
