That's amazing that GARDEN folks would steal plants, most gardeners
I've met are most wonderful, sharing, down to earth folks... sad.. I
suspect these thefts ''smirk'' as they look over their stolen
treasures, or perhaps sold them.!
Oh, Kemberly... how sweet of you to leave something pink at her
doorstep... a true gardener at heart.
Reminds me... one year as a child, Momma had us fold paper plates in
half, staple them together, add a ribbon handles (like a purse) and
fill them with a few of her desert raise flowers and wild flowers...
then on that May Day (the first of May) we hung them on front door
knobs, rang the door bells and hid behind the car giggling... it was
great fun, especially as the older folks would invite us in for
cookies and milk.. and Momma was only telling us what we were to do,
one step at a time.. keeping us in great suspense. Took up most of
the day a ''lolligagging" as Momma would call it. I haven't played
that ''game'' in a long time.. :-)
Sincerely,
~Carleen~
