I'm thinking of training the squirrels. Might as well get something for
all the peanuts my mother has me buy. And the blue jays seem to have
learned who belongs here or not.

It bothers me a lot, too, all this thieving going on. I grew up in rural
western New York State. We couldn't lock the doors on the farmhouse,
because the old 19th century locks were broken. Of course, we did have
some ferocious-looking 80 pound pooches who thought they were lap dogs.
