Re: Re: catalogs

Oh...Thanks Alicia! Gardening is truly a strong passion of mine, and
roses are the romance ;) If I could live in my garden all day, I would
be in heaven, but alas, I have to work a 9 to 5 job to pay for all those
roses...hehehe!

There is one picture there that people always email me on...it's where
I'm standing across the street in the park, and taking a picture of my
yard, subsequently, they also see the neighbors yard in the background.
They always laugh at the stark difference between the two. I think that
picture is in the Easter Weekend section.

Gardening season is just starting up here again! I will be a gardening
fool from now till June when the temps soar into the 115ish temps
again. Lots of fun plans...some that you will be able to see in my
garden cams. The first week in November I and a friend, Robin, will be
removing the 30 roses around the perimeter of the front yard, and Robin
is taking them up to her home in the cooler high deserts, where I
believe the rose, Yellow Simplicity, will do far better. Both the roses
and the leaves on Yellow Simplicity burn terribly in the summer, it has
turned out to be a poor choice in my garden planning. Then in December,
I will be planting 30 Sunsprite,s where the Yellow Simplicities use to
lie. I have been testing this rose for a couple of years, and it does
far better in the heat than Yellow Simplicity. The foliage remains
thick and lush, and does not burn, and it blooms non-stop. Much better
rose! I would have preferred to go with Golden Celebration, but it is
an expensive rose, and hard to come by someone who will sell me 30 for a
good price...but I think Sunsprite will fill the bill fine :)

In addition to the 30 roses coming in, I have two more beds I need to
prepare and the redesign of one rose bed for the arrival of about 25
other roses...should be a hoot! :)

Anyway, thanks for your comments :)
