Why certainly!  How else are we going to keep the hybridists and
nurseries in business?  Certainly you don't want to be one of those old
fogies that plant lovely roses, take care of them all their life, and wind
up after they are gone with someone rustling them and planting them in
some dumb heritage rose garden with a label:

        "Legacy of Duncan McAlpine"

You wouldn't want that, would you?
