Hmm..I saw Jaques Cartier this past spring at, of all places, Kmart while
picking up my summer annuals!  This is a rose I've been wanting for a long
time.  I wonder how it would perform here in the "Bayou State"...

Wow.  You really have your hands full then.  What is your fertilizing
regimen?  I have about 50 roses, all total... a mixture of HT's,
Floribundas, OGR's, etc.  Black spot is a challenge, but I find if I spray
consistently in the spring, it's usually just a matter of picking off the
rare infested leaf during the summer.  Also, I try to "visit" the roses
daily, though this year, I must admit, I've been a bit lax.
