Now the agonizing over the roses to select for my Fall planting. I have
narrowed my list to only 40 roses of which I can only pick 10 or 15. Now is
that really fair!! So everyone needs to add comments. Here are the lists
first
from Sequoiah (Moore's Miniatures) and then from Chamblees.
Sequoiah, Mini's and Micro's and Polyanthas
1. PlayGold(new AOE winner, 2. Si (Micro Pedro Dot rose), 3. Sweet
Chariot
(fragrant), 4. Hoot Owl (single, 8.5 rating), 5. Renny (8.4 rating,
fragrant?),
6. Scarlet Moss (mini moss rose), 7. Little Artist, 8. Baby Cecile Brunner,
9. Oakington Ruby (historic, raised 1933), 10. Ruby Magic (fragrant?),
11. Chick-a-dee (fragrant), 12. Trinket (pink micro), 13. Cinderella Gold

rating),
17. Jaune DePrez (Noisette, yellow apricot color), 18. Champney's Pink
Cluster
(Noisette, historic, 8.4 rating) 19. Dainty Bess (HT, single old rose with
8.9
rating), 20. Mrs. Oakley Fisher (Old HT, single apricot, 8.3 rating).
I have also had suggestions of Rainbow's End and Minnie Pearl. I looked at
the
catalogs from Bridges and Mini-Rose Garden (Williams) and liked Angel's
Blush,
