I highly reccomend Cecile Brunner. Although she only blooms once a year,
she is heavenly. She completely covers an arbor and part of a fence. Also
very fragrant. Veilchenblau does ok here, usually black spot in the spring,
although it doesn't seem to hamper the bloom. It also repeats in late
summer for me. The color is good, somewhat of a blue cast. My favorite
antique climber is Frau Karl Druschki, which is fairly disease free, covers
one wall of my house and blooms from spring through fall.
