Several years ago I receive a batch of cuttings in late fall from
Texas. To experiment, I stuck some outdoors in a cold frame without
the top and some indoors under lights. Ispahan took both indoors and
out. Complicata took only indoors. I used DipnGrow indoors, but not
out. Ispahan outdoors took off like a weed in the spring, numerous
canes to 3 feet.

I also got takes indoors from that Texas batch of Maggie and Nur
Mahal. They were not completely dormant, but not actively growing
either. I have also taken cuttings of Buck roses about this time of
year and had them root in the basement.
