House colors

As for house colors to go with garden colors.  I've had a barn red house, a
BLUE house and now this pale gray house... the pale gray is the EASIEST
color to match anything with, seems anything go's with it.

Red was tricky, too bright of colors are too contrasting, and too dark adds
to the dark house.

Blue was too glaring in all but the summer when I had a multitude of color.
Dark muted colors didn't go that well with it and lots of greens helped.

My friend has a yellow house and it seems very nice with just about
anything, pale colors appear to be best, and white is wonderful.

So I would vote for either a soft yellow or a pale gray house.
