Funny you should ask. Mine is spectacular at the moment and is constantly
catching my attention.
I've had this plant for 3 years now, I and do the same thing I do to all my
other roses: wait until November, when it's definately dormant, then pile
mulch on it. After that is pretty much frozen I cut the canes back to
prevent wind rock. It's a pretty big mound of mulch on each plant, about
two five-gallon buckets worth. In the Spring I work it away from the sides.
