[SANS] Sansevieria eiliana

About 6 months ago purchased a plant of "S. eiliana n.n. (LAV. 10178)".

Here is the blurb from Grigsby's wish letter:

"Propagated from material collected by Lavranos at the top of Eil Pass,
Somalia, in 1978. (Until someone formally describes this plant we will
continue to use the name Lavranos and Dave had decided on when they were
going to describe it.) This is a short, stubby form, *very* slow to grow.
It is not the elongated form offered elsewhere. The small, round, sausage
shaped leaves are seldom more than 6" long. A full grown adult *might* have
4 leaves. The leaf is about 1" in diameter, reflexed, with a shallow groove
that disappears on a mature leaf. The plant is smokey gray-green when young
and develops stripes and crossbands as it matures."

Boy, when they say "*very* slow to grow" they mean it. It hasn't done a
dang thing since I bought it!

It seems happy enough, so I assume that it is just the colder months that
have put it to sleep. We'll see what it does during the rest of the year.

Has anyone heard if this plant has been described yet? Does anyone have any
information about it, beyond what's described above, that they would be
willing to share (particularly concerning its culture). The cute little
devil didn't come cheap, so the longer I can keep it alive the better.

Thanks,
