Hi, gang,

Since I have a new toy (i.e. a digital camera), I thought I would post
some (3) pix to the Shared Files, in hopes of finally clearing up my own
confusion about these plants.

In the first two pictures (the second is just leaf tips), the plant on
the left is what was sold to me as S.transvaalensis, and the plant on
the right was sold to me as S.parva. I am by now convinced that they
are really the same critter, since "S.transvaalensis" is not a valid
name for anything. So my question is, does this look like S.parva to
everyone else, or do I have some other thing entirely, masquerading
under two false names?

The third picture shows what even small divisions of the
"transvaalensis" do to escape captivity--this is only a 2.75" pot. Is
this typical of the S.parva that everyone knows and loves? The plant
labeled S.parva has only been in its pot for about a month, and hasn't
yet made any overt moves to vacate the premises, so I don't know what
its typical growth habit is.

I promise I won't bore you with this line of questioning any more!!
Obviously a newbie,
Carolyn
