A NEW SANSEVIERIA ARTICLE!

Just got my latest copy of the CSSA journal and it includes a Sansevieria
article!

Mbugua, P.K. (1998) THREE SANSEVIERIA SPECIES OF KENYA. II. S.BRAUNII.
Cact. & Succ. Journ. Amer. 70 (6): 311-312, 1 fig.

Sansevieria braunii Engler & Krause is a rather dull looking species with
strap-shaped gray green leaves that are only faintly banded when young and
with bicolor margins. The inflorescence is densely flowered thyrsose raceme
but otherwise similar to the majority of species. Mbugua compares it to
S.raffillii N.E. Brown but says it differs by having smooth, wider and
shorter leaves and more densely flowered floral stems. It is reported from
Kenya, Tanzania and Ethiopia.

Can't wait until part three. The first part was:

Mbugua, P.A. (1994) THREE SANSEVIERIA SPECIES OF KENYA. I. SANSEVIERIA
ROBUSTA. Cact. & Succ. Journ. Amer. 66 (2): 87-88, 3 figs.

Hope we don't need to wait another four years for the third part.
