Re: [SANS] Bloom Time

Happy Holidays everyone!

Just came in from the greenhouse, and was deligthed to see so many bloom
spikes coming up from so many Sansevierias, big and small.  There are a couple
of especially ENORMOUS stalks arising from a crowded 14" pot full of S. kirkii
pulchra that just thrill my heart. And a 12" hanging basket spilling over with
cascades of Bally 12681 (BTW -- is there another name for this yet?)-- about 8
generations worth-- is loaded with buds.  Many others are folllowing suit.
Soon the night air will perfumed with the heady essence of Sansevieria
flowers, driving me to intoxicated distraction.

Must be Summer Solstice in South Africa!
