SANSEVIERIA
Sans. KIRKII var. KIRKII Superclone GC81071 This most amazing of all
Sansevierias comes from Kenya-Uganda. Mature plants have a very thick leaf
to three inches wide and as much as two inches thick! The leaves can grow
to over three feet long. LIMITED. Beautiful 14-18".$16.00 => ?Sans.
forskaoliana (Schultes, f.) Hepper & Wood (Kew Bulletin 38 (1): 83 (1983))
(definitely not Sans.kirkii, leaves much thicker and with different
markings)
Sans. KIRKII PULCHRA "COPPER FORM" The most beautiful of all the species.
The dark green leaves are wavy edged and spotted with copper, light tan and
green. Nice plants.$6.50 cv. => Sans.kirkii var. pulchra 'Coppertone'
Sans. "LILLIAN TRUE" Pretty plant named for a lovely lady. Bright yellow
bands the edges of the long black-green leaves. Gets to be 24" or more when
full grown. Nice young plants.$7.50 => Sans. trifasciata 'Lilian True"
Sans. PATENS Thick, ridged leaves curve gracefully to a sharp point. We
think it is one of the most beautiful of all the genus! It is unbelievable!

Sans. PINGUICULA (GC78124) Strange Agave looking plant from N.E. Kenya.
Plants propagated from collected plants Lavranos #12240. Super nice apx. 5"

Sans. POWELLII (TRUE) Rare. From hand set seed on plants collected by
Lavranos (LAV 24534) in Somalia. The adult plants are a spiral of 10" long,
triangular, very sharp leaves. This different plant is strong and heavy
looking. These seedlings will take 35 years to look like adults. 3"
seedlings.$12.50
=> Sans. rorida (Lanza) N.E. Brown (Sans.powellii originates from Kenya not
Somalia)
Sans. ROXBURGHIANA (GC 79-63) A rare, handsome and very slow growing plant
from Vandallur (err for Vandalui) Hill, India. The strong, rough surfaced
leaves are broad, pointed and thick. They are irregularly crossed with
bands of brightlight and very dark green. Young plants. LIMITED.$13.50

(Sans. roxburghiana has smooth, flattened leaves)
Sans. SCABRAFOLIA Slow growing, rather rare species. Very dark green rough
leaves edged in white. Forms a rosette but seldom over 10" in diameter.
Nice 5-6" diameter, 5 year old seedlings.$11.50

Sans. SCHWEINFURTHII GC78210 Leaves are very dark green and tapered round.
The sculptured form is beautiful. The plant grows in an "S" shape rather

Sans.erythraeae Mattei (Sans. schweinfurthii is an invalid name)
Sans. SINGULARIS GC78124 A plant that varies with age. It has flat, short,
thick, dark leaves when young. Slowly the leaves lengthen and become
thinner with a narrow channel. Finally the leaves are round with a tiny
channel. Mixed adult and juvenile form. Nice multiheaded plants.$4.50 sp.

Sans. sp. GC81069 "BASEBALL BAT" There is no known Sansevieria like it. A
plant has one or two broad channeled leaves, ridged on the face. The
channel is the same width as the leaf! The adult leaf is 2"+ wide, up to
12" long and 1"+ thick!!! And it is as hard as a rock! We fondly call it
the "Baseball Bat". This plant belongs in every collection. Nice plants
with one or two 6-8" leaves.$10.00 sp.

Sans. sp. FKH 432 - GC78135 From Garsen, Kenya. Forms 5 vertical rows of
overlapping round leaves when adult. An odd form somewhat like a raccoon
tail. Nice 6" x 6" plants.$6.00

(1995)) (Named for Frank Horwood.)
Sans. sp. F/C LOBOL (err for Loboi), KENYA (MB 21) Propagated from plants
F/C near Lake Baringo, near Lobol, Kenya. Graceful fountains of nicely
banded, medium green leaves with a deep channel. Young plants.
LIMITED.$10.00 => Sans. robusta N.E. Brown (locality is spelled Loboi)
Sans. sp. MASON-CONGO GC78133 Fabulous mottled bluish color. Can make
leaves 9" wide, 30" high! Nice plant with 2-3 leaves 8-10" long .$6.50 =>
