YOU were suprised! this blew my hat off when i first heard it, but it isnt
that unusual. many orchids bloom once per "growth" and then take years to
decline while setting there and cranking out new pups. generally, after
blooming is when the plants make their largest number of pups. A bloomed
plant can look great for YEARS! this is nothing to get upset about.
Although it is...unsettling at first, isnt it?
