Hi Sansevieria Lovers,

I'm sorry to reply this late, but I was deep into the prep of our garden
show and I had just finished yesterday the taxing task of transporting
exhibitors' plants back to them. But better late than never, right?

I am from the Philippines, and I am only into serious gardening for a year
or so, and I was brought into it by my daughter. She loved cacti and
succulents. She was undergoing medical treatment at Stanford Medical Center
when, in between treatment, my wife and I brought her to a cacti and
succulent shop in Cupertino. There, we bought this cute little dwarf snake
plant for her, and many others that she fancied, of course. We thought it
was a Sansevieria. I later realized that it was a Gasteria. Unfortunately,
my daughter passed away; she was 21. I was left to take care of her plants,
which we brought back home. Unfortunately again, due to my inexperience and
lack of knowledge, many of them died too. And among them was this little
cute dwarf snake plant.

Well, recently, my wife came across this lovely dwarf variegated
rosette-type Sansevieria in the private collection of a plant seller. After
some amount of persuading, the lady acceded to dividing and selling us one
rosette. I vowed not to let this one die on us this time, so I searched and
found this mailing list. I quickly subscribed in the hope of getting info
on how to better take care of this plant and to use as support for quick
advice in case problems should arise. I hope this works out.

First thing first, I will appreciate it very much if anyone on this list
can point me to a website on taking care of Sansevierias. Thanks in advance.

George
