Somehow i did not see this picture. 'Futura Reversion' was something i got
from an Hawaiian grower for free, as he was disgusted to see the plant
without stripes...it has a real trunk with adventitious rootlets between
its leaves, and it is quite a fast-growing and glorious piece of work. It
is one of the few finds I ever made which lacks variegation, and was Lilian
True's favorite plant! I would like to see a picture of this. i am nervous
about looking for mine among the harvest of death in the nursery (fatal
cold strike...plants still looking ok but showing up with, um...the crowns
falling apart....I am taking cuttings from some cylindrical leaved plants
who have croaked at the base. for i am an optimist.

What i did not mention, i do not think...is my own Crown of Thorns hybrids
which perished. they were hybrids of Hummel hybrids crossed with each other
or with native species Crown OF Thorns. I never pushed them as a sales
item, and had not propagated them; many were glorious in bonsai tree form.
most are dead. (SCREAMING AND PULLING HAIR OUT)
