Hi everyone, Hi George,
just to cause a little confusion there is Sansevieria nelsonii the so
called species and Sansevieria trif. ' nelsoni ' two different
plants. In Graf's Exotica 3 pg 1489 they describe S. nelsonii but it
is in fact the CV not the species so even they got it wrong.
S. nelsonii is like a small S. concinna in fact a juvenile concinna
is exactly the same as nelsonii to look at.
I think I might have a photo of S. nelsonii if I can find it I'll
attach a picture off to you (George)
PF115 it would not be the first time a Botanical garden has mixed up
field numbers especially in the early years, and George it is possible
for PF115 and Baker 1889 both to be subspicata all it means is that
two people have collected the plant.
