The opposite. they come from the other side of the equater and fower in
winter in the northern lattitudes. even in Southern california we keep
ours warm, in a propagation greenhouse. that is, no night temps below 50
and 60 is the desired minimum. days get up near 100 in the full sun in the
greenhouse.
