I personally would not let Sansevieria's go bellow 55F I keep mine at
60-70 in winter and water 12 months of the year.
In some habitats Sansevieria's actually get frost at NIGHT for short
periods and high day temperatures in other habitats the temperature
stays around 75F all year round.
But basically they like warmth and the odd cold night will not harm
them, but a prolonged cold day night period will definitly push them
onto the compost heap.
If they are to be kept at the lower end of their temperature 50-55
then I would keep them dry with only a small amount of water once a
month just to keep them ticking over.
As to flowering they all seem to have their season maybe another
thread here what flowers when. Coming into flower now is S. nelsonii.
Has anyone flowered javanica mine grows well but has never shown a
desire to flower.
