Dear Juan and other members of the group,

Thanks for taking the time to respond!  I have taken three more
photos of my "mystery" plant and uploaded them.

pictures). They are better shots.  Yes, I believe the plant has
received less than adequate light. (The other plants in the
collection also suffered from this affliction)

Currently it is enjoying filtered outdoor light. The leaves about 12
inches long and are very stiff.  The surface of the leaves is quite
rough. Overall the plant seems to be quite healthy with lots of new
growth.

I will find out collection data from the former owner of the plant.
The cactus retailer in So. California if purchased the plant from
(estate sale) wouldn't let me get away without taking a
cutting...Since she deals in some exotics, I assume that this is
something she didn't in get every day, so to speak)
