We find S.arborescens and others of the same group, such as S.bagamoyensis
and S.powellii fairly touchy in the Winter, and subject to die back of
shoot tips. We keep a minimum of around 50 degrees F. and little or no
water.
One of our S.powellii flowered last year. A mature plant about 5ft tall.
The inflorescence was large and branching but almost without scent. Despite
attempts at pollinating no seeds were produced.
