Herm sez, one or both are pot bound. i have some plants in raised beds,
bigger than me, others for same length of time kept in plastic pots, which
are under a foot tall. i think we stunt the plants greatly by growing them
in posts, and this is not a BAD thing. the ornament geranium or pelargonium
folks were shocked to find their dwarf plants, planted out in the ground,
becoming SHRUBS!
