Hi Diana,
Answers to your questions speaking as an irregular contributor (who is
trying to find time to contribute more!)
1. I think anything related to Sansevierias is permissible, also anything
of interest about other plants or related issues.
2. I think it has to be informal or some people will be scared off. The
only comment I would make is that if two people are having a private
discussion about something they should maybe consider e-mailing privately
and not through the group. Some messages are definately not of general
interest and just clog up the system.
3. I know there are differences of attitude and interest, but as Hermine
says, most people are interested in most things and we need to keep a
balance. In a way we represent a small part of society at large, and so
will inevitably suffer from similar problems. Society needs some rules to
stop the freedom of some people restricting the freedom or happiness of
others, but I do not believe in segregation. ONE list please.
