Dear Tom,
There are three stages of Sans.fischeri?
Now I know there is a juvenile phase with spirally arranged boat shaped
leaves and an adult phase with solitary cylindrical leaves but what is the
third? Could it be the seedling phase? Please explain. Most plants grown in
pots are stunted into maintaining the juvenile phase.
There are no species of Sansevieria that have been described as being
typically epiphytic. I could imagine an odd plant growing from a hole in
the trunk of a tree from seeds dropped there by birds but that would be
exceptional.

To all,
I know there are supposedly three stages of fischeri. I heard that the
final stage can be huge tusk like apendages 6-8" across and 4 feet +
tall. Is this true and how big does a plant have to get before it
starts showing this stage?
Also, have there been any epiphytic Sansevierias found in the wild?
Any knowledge on these two questions would be greatly apreciated.
Have a good one,
Tom
