Hi Gang,
I've been housebound for a few days following minor surgery, and have had
some time to poke around my plants. I have a bunch that have labels in them
with all sorts of strange names and numbers, and I'm wondering if anyone
(like Steve or Juan) has any more information about their true identities by
now. I've got some ideas of my own, but would like some other opinions.
Several of them came, directly or indirectly, from Huntington Botanic Garden:
abbey 71-622 (from Abbey Gardens)
Bally 30 (also from Abbey)
Berkley 71-632
'Dimples' (this from Hermine)
'Kenya' (also from Abbey)
HBG 22830 (abyssinica?)
KU III
'Mystery' (also from Hermine)
Pfennig #115
powellii ex True/Pfennig (looks nothing like powelli)
roxburghiana ex True ex Eby '85 (looks nothing like roxburghiana)
'Stella'
They'll probably all turn out to be the same thing!
Cheers,
Kirk
