Thank You very much To Juan Chahinian for the
information, that I am the lucky owner of a S.Guineensis/Longiflora. I was
really taken by surprise.
And now, when I took a look on the plant through
the new glasses, as an extra astonishment, I spotted the first flower on it's
way.
About my "big" Hahnii type. I
understand, that Trifasciata Futura is a low type, yellow margined Trifasciata.
I Guess that a reverse plant, will look more like a low green Trifasciata, but
this plant looks exactly like a Hahni. The only difference is the much longer
leaves. Uptill 35 cm/14 inch.
I have been looking on the photographs from John
Gamesby. I have bought a plant very similar to the "aubrytiana
?" from the Botanic Garden Store in Copenhagen. It was labelled S.
metallica. The patterning and form of the leaves looks identic and my plant has
very thin red/brown margins too.
I can't judge the size from the photograph, my
plant grows to about 4 feet tall.
Could it be the same, or maybe mine is wrong
labelled?
